American born Malayali & spoiled brat Johns Isaac (Dulquer Salmaan) is sent to India against his will by his father Isaac John (Lalu Alex), along with his cousin Kora (Jacob Gregory), to learn a lesson in simple living, but folks back in Kerala mistake the duo of leaving the luxuries of the US on their own to learn about poverty, & a media circus ensues which elevates them to the status of youth icons. Meanwhile Johns & Korah were plotting to procure enough money to buy tickets back to the US.

Also part of the plan was for Babumon & Angel to marry & for Baburam to profess his love to Shanthi. In Bengal, they learn that Usar Ali was actually Bindra, a Maoist.

Balan K. Nair (Dulquer Salman), a budding journalist, meets Sheela (Nithya Menon) whom he falls in love with, & enlists his gamer friend Ummar (Sekhar Menon) to help woo her. However, Sheela, wary of love, spurns his amorous advances & instead tries to keep him just as a friend. Convinced that she needs stability in life instead of love & passion, she accepts the marriage proposal of rich businessman Rahul (Rahul Madhav) instead.
