Nidhi (Amrutha Prakash), a school girl, enlists the help of her boyfriend Sandeep (Jayakrishnan), a brainiac friend of Sandeep's, Adithya, & a skirt chaser middle-aged man, Manuel (Lalu Alex), to kill her sexually abusive stepfather Mohan (Suresh Krishna). With a stolen antique gun, & Manuel as the shooter, their amateurish plans don't pan out as they planned.

Set in the 70s through 90s Malabar in Kerala, Thangal (Jagathi Sreekumar), a liberal minded Muslim, raises the son of a Hindu woman who died while under his care, along with his own daughter. And after his daughter Pookunju Beevi grows up, he gets her to learn Nangiarkoothu, a traditional Hindu temple art form, all of which doesn't bode well with Thangal's conservative brethren, especially after the 1992 Babri Masjid incident, which had further aggravated the tensions between Hindus & Muslims.

Genius inventor Bharathan (Biju Menon) discovers a way to levitate objects using the power of nature, but starts to suffer amnesia about it soon after. As the scientists of the world look on, famed neuropsychiatrist G.R. Pandal (Suresh Gopi) is brought in from London to cure Bharathan. Pandal proposes a treatment, but which had the possible side effect of Bharathan forgetting his wife Geetha (Geethu Mohandas) completely. Initially opposed to the idea, Geetha is finally persuaded by Pandal.
