There's hokum in abundance when lascivious lothario Philip falls into a marriage trap concocted by Gaby and Viola. Knowing that Philip prefers the sexual company of married women, Gaby and Viola exchange identities, much to the discomfort of Gaby's jealous husband David. The misunderstandings multiply as the four protagonists attend the annual Monte Carlo motor race, then head off for a zany ocean voyage.

Russian stage star Ivan Mosjoukine plays the title role in this far-from-accurate biopic of legendary Italian lover Casanova. The main plot concerns itself with political intrigue, as Casanova travels from Venice to Russia and back again on a variety of "secret missions." (All Movie Guide)

Max Hansen and Willi Schur play two small-time criminals who steal dogs from their owners in the hope that they will get a reward. When the police catches them at their 'work', Hansen flees and gets into the apartment of Jenny Jugo, who takes a liking to the man and pretends that he's her boyfriend. Her landlady isn't amused, and so our heroine loses her rooms and moves in with Hansen. The two of them soon become lovebirds, of course.

It's 1945, and the princess Ulrike von Brandenburg is on the run to the west, with an old uncle and two court ladies, to Bavaria, where the von Brandenburgs still own a castle. Along the way they get under fire from a low-flying aircraft and lose most of their luggage in a river, together with the case with the crown jewels.
