A man who owns a diamond importing business goes out for a night on the town with his girlfriend, her brother and her brother's fiancé. The group stops by a circus to see the act of a trapeze artist who's a friend of the man's girlfriend. The performer suggests that all the men go out for a few drinks, and the next thing the businessman knows, he's waking up in his apartment with a terrible hangover and a dead body in his room.

A teenage girl is stranded by a storm on a small North Sea island, where she and a young teacher fall in love and conceive a child. Back on the mainland, with help from her aunt and a family doctor, she gives birth and returns to finish school, unaware that the teacher has become her colleague and is now engaged. Faced with social stigma and personal conflict, she conceals her motherhood until the truth emerges, leading both to acknowledge their relationship and their child.

Berlin, 1890: Werner Ludtke is only nine years old, but this son of a shoemaker is already in love with his playmate, Felicitas von Graefe. At first, her father just laughs about this infatuation; but as the children start to grow up, the class-conscious gentlemen doesn't find this crush all too swell. Werner's mother has a solution: her son must join the Army and go far away from Felicitas.

This Nazi propaganda film follows the exploits of a German submarine as it prowls the North Atlantic.

Set largely in France, England, and Spain, the film chronicles the plight of Germans caught by the outbreak of war and their frantic attempts to return to the Fatherland to join the battle. All of Germany's enemies receive equal disdain. The British, the French, the Poles, and the Jews are portrayed respectively as warmongers, profiteers and cowards. In the end, all that is important is returning to Germany.

At the Olympic games in Berlin 1936 Inge Wagner falls in love with Luftwaffenleutnant (Airforce Lieutenant) Herbert Koch. They want to marry, but he receives orders to go to Spain - incognito, without permission for any contacts to his friends and relatives. Inge is still waiting for him. After the beginning of WW II, German radio starts broadcasting the "Wunschkonzert für die Wehrmacht" - a program made of wishes from the soldiers. He hears the song, he wanted to hear, and so does Inge.

A foreman's son and his noble friend, who have voluntarily arrived from Berlin to help out with the harvest, switch their billeting coupons while on the journey, so as to play a trick on the estate owner, who is related to one of them. The wrong boy is asked to sit at the estate owner's table, while the real relative is pushed off on the servants. And so begins a game of confusion with amusing results.
