Omar Zerrouki is an old-fashioned bandit. Forced to go on the run in Algiers, where he can hide because of his ancestry, he makes a living out of petty theft, accompanied by his sidekick Roger. But the knife fell: the French justice system sentenced him to 20 years' imprisonment. Omar had to renounce French nationality to avoid extradition. Having lived a life of violence up to now, he had to "settle down" and managed to find a job in a pastry factory.
