Caught stealing a pittance from his father for booze with his friends, Prabhu questions his father's responsibility towards his upbringing. His angry father gives him some of his savings and tells him to do something with his life. Prabhu purchases a bike and finds a job. The bike is then lost and he sets out to find it.

Durgaprasad (Mammootty) & his wife Sheetal (Mansi Sharma), migrants from the state of Jharkhand & living in Kochi, try to make ends meet in the big city. When Sheetal goes into labor & the govt. hospital doctors go on a strike, Durgaprasad is forced to take her to a private hospital where they demand a hefty sum for a C-section. Forced to accept money from a terrorist for the C-section, Durgaprasad tries to make amends by foiling their plot to conduct blasts in several parts of the city.
