Eight contestants enter a TV Reality in which trapped in a secluded Maximum Security Prison where a massacre occurred in the nineties they must endure various hard tests in order to win an important sum of money. Each of the participants has its own reasons to be there. After a couple of hours where everything seems fine one participant dies, and all of a sudden the prison loose contact with the channel Production which leaves them uncommunicated in a desert of salt.

Simó works with Mario Borla and Marta Hobart as an architect in "Mario Borla and Asociados". One day a young woman called Leonor arrives to the workplace of these three individuals asking for Nelson Jara. When she leaves, it becomes clear that there is something going on, and through flashbacks, we will know what happened with Jara, a man that claimed that a crack in a wall of his house was caused by the "mala Praxis" of one of their constructions.

An eclectic group of actors struggles to save their theater from being demolished and replaced with a shopping mall. Max, the leader of the troupe, is a workaholic director who abandoned his family to build his career and is forced to confront the daughter he deserted. Then there is Enrique, the playwright-poet who is reduced to pawning his belongings to sustain his livelihood when his state pension is severed. (L.H. Wong)

Stifling, the best compliment for a thriller, while entertaining, "Causality" is presented as a disruptive product. A psychological thriller, which is filmed in a single sequence shot, is a critique of the current justice system
