Varadanunni (Indrajith), son of a Kathakali artist, is forced to take up arms against gangster J.S. (Siddique), who wipes out his family after they witness a murder committed by him. Teaming up with don Vincent Karanavar (Thilakan), who had his own axe to grind with J.S., Varadanunni lays down plans to entrap J.S..

In Kochi, Swarnavel (Indrajith), a Tamil migrant worker, is in love with Marathakam (Parvathi), who had escaped from a bad marriage. Various tribulations later, their being together hinges on Solomon playing for the struggling church band & winning the annual tournament. Lending a helping hand was Fr. Vincent Vattoli (Indrajith), the newly appointed maverick junior priest at the church who was an artist himself.
