Linda Begonja

Croatian policeman Stipan is sent to his old home island to investigate rumours of Josip Broz Tito's ghost appearing at a funeral. Capitalist mayor and local tycoon Luka wants to turn the island into a Communist-themed tourist destination, despite his hatred of communism. But the retired local communists don't believe in ghosts; they believe that it is Tito himself, who has returned from hiding to lead them to the restoration of the Yugoslavian state.

Story follow the life of Nina Brlek, kind, intelligent and naive young woman. Brlek has excellent grades and perfect curriculum, but fails to find a good job because of her looks. (imdb)
