The film narrates the events that took place in October 1926, when a last attempt was made on the life Benito Mussolini. The film, without ever mentioning the names of the real protagonists of the story, narrates the events that led to that last attack, then taken as a pretext for the acceleration of the approval of special laws.

Richard and Ingrid, two liberated British hippies, travel to Scandinavia to buy pornographic material to sell in Italy. Soon they start taking their own sexy pictures until they are busted by the local authorities. They manage to flee and find refuge at a villa which belongs to the wife of a NATO colonel. Initially she seems to be enraged but soon she submits to their sexual games. Without realizing, the young couple become embroiled in a bizarre murder plot.
