Three friends - Karunakaran (M. Sasikumar), Chandran (Vijay Vasanth) & Pandi (Bharani) - go through a lot of personal sacrifices to unite their friend Saravanan (Ranga) & his lover Prabha (Sangvi Pathak), but after learning that the couple separated just after a few days of fun & frolic, they decide to take their anger out by killing them.
Sreeramakrishnan (Prithviraj) & Milan Paul (M. Sasikumar) are best friends from college who are now a choleric cop & a socially conscious journo who frequently work together. Sree gets the task of investigating the murder-suicide of businessman Balagangadhar (Vijayaraghavan) who was killed by a girl who seemingly didn't have anything to do with him. Two other murders quickly follow, all with unrelated victims & perps, & Sree & Milan try to unravel the pattern & motives behind the murders.
In the 1980 village of Subramaniapuram, 5 jobless friends - Alagar (Jai), Paraman (M. Sasikumar), Kasi (Ganja Karuppu), Dopa & Dumka - spend their time goofing off & getting into petty fights. Alagar & Paraman slip into the world of crime after their mentor Kanagu (Samuthirakani) tricks them into killing his political rival, but disowns them afterwards. Later they get used by another bigwig to kill someone else & soon a string of murders follow, turning Alagar & Paraman into seasoned criminals.
