The glaciers where Captain Pengu lives with his family and friends are melting. His best friend, the polar bear Putuk, falls into the sea and disappears. The Animal Council asks him to investigate this glacier meltdown. Captain Pengu sets out to fulfill the council's request and to find his friend Putuk.
