Sanjay Ramaswamy (Surya Sivakumar) a rich businessman and Chairman of Air Voice cellular phone company, suffers from short term memory loss following a violent encounter in which his love interest, model Kalpana (Asin), was killed by a thug called Lakshman (Pradeep Singh Rawat). He tries to track down the killer & avenge Kalpana's death with the aid of instant camera photographs, notes to himself & permanent tattoos on his torso.

DSP Jayaprakash aka Jay (Prabhu) has long been on the trail of dreaded criminal David Billa (Ajith) & finally kills him by accident. To catch the whole of Billa's gang, along with his boss, the mysterious Jagadish, Jay gets Velu (Ajith), Billa's lookalike, to pose as Billa & infiltrate his gang. In an encounter, Jay gets killed, & the blame falls on Velu, whom the cops assume to be Billa. Velu goes on the run, with the cops & Jagadish's gang, who learned that he isn't Billa, on his tail.

Actor Aari reaches the location following his curiosity after reading a book which states that years ago, the place used to be a mental hospital. Now in ruins, the place situated among forest area is totally abandoned and people who have visited the place believe that there is some evil spirit lurking around it.
