To escape the police, the stooges pose as plumbers and are hired to fix a leak in a fancy mansion. They wind up crossing the electrical system with the plumbing and generally ruin the place. One memorable scene has the lady of the house tuning into a television broadcast from Niagara Falls as a torrent of water pours from the set. It's actually kind of hard to tell what the plot is of this thing, 'cause there aren't even any title cards. Mainly, however, it seems to be about a pair of young lovers who want to have their marriage ceremony in the lion cage at the circus. Yes, with the big cats present.

Neal hates to give up his evenings with "the boys." even for his wife Betty. She gets a burglar scare and insists on his staying home. However, he wants to go to a masked ball, so he gives her a powder, telling her it will make her sleep soundly. She slips the powder into his favorite decanter, hides his costume, and then retires. In the kitchen, the cook gives a policeman some of the doped whiskey. Neal takes the cop's coat, hat, and stick and starts for the ball.

Neal and Betty are newlywed when her father dies. Betty goes to visit her mother and decides to take her to live with them. Neal, who has never met her, remonstrated furiously but in vain.

Young Dick is pursuing pretty young Mary, but so are a lot of other young men. Dick decides to impersonate her butler and uses that position to keep all of Mary's suitors out of the house so he can work on her himself. When his ruse is discovered, he is thrown out of the house. That doesn't stop him. He gets the maid to help him concoct a story about Mary actually being bald and having false teeth, hoping to drive them away. It works, but it doesn't quite have the effect he intended it to.
