''Bi Umut'' tells the true story of Gülsüm Kabadayi, who becomes a mother to a boy left paralyzed after a car accident and whose identity remains unknown despite DNA tests. The boy, unable to speak or move and abandoned by everyone, is given the name “Umut.” Although doctors said he would live no more than three months, Gülsüm opened her heart and cared for him like a mother for ten years.
