Mr Manatane is a well-dressed, cultured, arrogant prick who aims to teach "good" manners to the viewers and goes through a series of situations parodying famous people, films and society issues.

Uchronia is a parallel world. Neither dated nor geographically situated, it has no concrete links with our universe, except that it extrapolates, blends and exaggerates to excess our most absurd foibles and the increasingly questionable excesses of our so-called modern society. Uchronia is a way of pointing out the absurdity of our world - without seeming to touch it - through the absurd. It's also a way of curing our ills with laughter. (allocine)
