Five boys and girls, aged 20-25, take on an Interrail trip throughout Europe. After a first stop in Amsterdam, where they meet up with an old teacher of theirs who happens to be gay, they cross Germany and Italy, and eventually end up in a remote island in Greek Cyclades. There, they find a home at Knut's, a faded disco sensation who locked himself up in a beautiful mansion overlooking the sea. During their trip, everyone will discover who they really are...

On 24 June 1980 , Max, Serge, Lucien and Henri are trying to rob the jeweler Cartier. The attempt fails and Max is imprisoned. 25 years later, a year after his death, the remaining three accomplices discover that there is a nest egg to share into four, the last portion attributable to Max's, Rémy.
