Two petty thieves Hari (Amol Palekar) & Ramu (Asrani), find themselves embroiled in a kidnapping when they break into the home of rich businessman Lekhraj Malhotra (Navin Nischol) on the same night that a gang of thugs planned to abduct Lekhraj's young son Vinnie.
