Sankara Shastri is a very popular Carnatic singer. He is immersed in the Sangeetha Rasaamrutham (Nectar of Music) with his nirantara saadhana (uninterrupted practice).Tulasi(Manju) is a prostitute's daughter who has great interest in music and dance. She is also an admirer of Shastri and also learns music from him when he used to teach his daughter along the riverside. But her mother wants her to become a prostitute to earn money.

Antony (Prem Nazir) & Lawrence (Madhu), who grew up at the orphanage with the kindness of Fr. John (Balan K. Nair), parts ways. Antony continued to assist at the church, while Lawrence grows up to be a cop. Antony's daughter Mary (Seema) falls in love with Rajan (Ravindran). Antony kills Rajan in a fit of rage & absconds, giving Lawrence the slip. Years later, Antony returns disguised as millionaire William D'cruz. But Lawrence, who hadn't given up on his hope of arresting Antony, is suspicious.

Dr. P. K. Haridas (Mohanlal), in repentance for inadvertently causing the death of freshman medical student Unnikrishnan (Vineeth) during a hazing routine while in college, takes up the care & protection of Unnikrishnan's impoverished Brahmin family. In the process, Haridas alienates his relatives & his cousin/girlfriend Bhanu (Geetha).

Righteous cop Krishnakumar's (Mohanlal) sister Sheela (Rohini) is found raped & murdered & her husband Babu (Rahman) found brutally assaulted the day after their wedding, during their honeymoon. Krishnakumar tries to bring his sister Sheela's murderers to justice.

She, along with her husband Dr. Samuel George (Mammootty) & her brother-in-law James (Ratheesh), goes in search of the artifacts in her latest dream.

Gora and Mahim were two sons of Krishna Dayal Babu. From childhood, Bijay and Gora were friends. Through an accident, Bijay was introduced to Paresh Babu's family. Paresh was a Bramhin. So Gora did not like Bijay's visit to that house. Gora's mother was very anxious about Gora's Hindusim. Krishna Dayal was also very annoyed being an orthodox Hindu. Melodrama about lineage and property questions. Nikhilesh (Barua) loves heiress Indira (Jamuna). A poor orphan girl, Radha (Menaka Devi), arrives claiming to be Indira's stepsister and therefore part inheritor of the family estate.
