After the untimely death of his sister & brother-in-law, bachelor Rahul Malhotra (Aamir Khan) is forced to take custody of their 3 unruly children & their troubled garment business. The children befriend a runaway rich girl, Vaijayanti (Juhi Chawla), whom the kids hide at the house. Rahul finds out, but lets her stay as the kids' governess.
