Dijo John (Mohanlal) is a nature photographer who manages to get his photographs published in prestigious magazines like National Geographic. He is happily married to a Brahmin girl Satya (Nityasree) and has a young son. One day on an assignment in Wynad he saves an adivasi boy Thammi from police bullets. The entire adivasi village is ravaged by cops killing many people. Meanwhile Thammi, who was put in a juvenile home by Dijo, goes missing and Dijo goes into the forest to track him down.
Naran
Mullamkolli Velayudhan (Mohanlal) is an orphan brought up by the chief of the village Valiya Nambiar (Madhu). Velayudhan is a drunkard & rules the village with his muscle power, but he is good at heart & keeps the evils of the modern world out of his tiny hamlet. Velayudhan is at constant odds with Valiya Nambiar's son-in-law Gopinathan (Siddique). Gopinathan, along with his cronies, Kuruppu (Jagathy Sreekumar) & Keeri Raghavan (Bheeman Raghu) hatches various schemes to get rid of Velayudhan.
Randam Bhavam
Twin brothers Navneethakrishnan aka "Kishan" & Ananthakrishnan aka "Ananthu" are poles apart - while the former had run away from home as a child & is now a goon of the Mangalore underworld don Govindji (Thilakan), the latter is a college lecturer in Ottapalam. Ananthu visits Kishan from time to time, determined to reform him & bring him back to Ottapalam. Kishan falls out with Govindji & Govindji, in trying to get Kishan killed, kills Ananthu instead. Kishan decides to go undercover as Ananthu.
Meesha Madhavan
Madhavan Nair aka "Meesha Madhavan" (Dileep), a petty thief in the village of Chek, woos his arch enemy Bhageerathan Pillai's (Jagathi) daughter, Rukmini (Kavya Madhavan), & after some initial spats, Rukmini also falls for him. Bhageerathan Pillai tries to foil the relationship, with the help of the new SI, Eppan Pappachi (Indrajith). Then one day, the local temple idol disappears & suspicion falls on Madhavan. With the whole village after him, it's up to Madhavan to prove himself innocent.
Manassinakkare
Kochu Thresia (Sheela), a rich elderly widow with a lust for life, but alienated by her children caught in the rat race for making money, gets a companion in Reji (Jayaram), a poor but earthy young man with his own share of burdens including coping up with his drunkard father Chacko (Innocent) & his immature ways. Kochu Thresia's & Reji's unique relationship doesn't bode well with Kochu Thresia's children & their spouses who tries to break them up.
Achuvinte Amma
Unwed single mother Vanaja (Urvashi) & her daughter Ashwathy (Meera Jasmine) were more of friends than mother & daughter, but when Ashwathy falls in love with struggling ambulance chaser Ijo (Narein), Vanaja opposes it because Ijo was an orphan, didn't have a family & she wanted to marry Ashwathy off into a big family. Infuriated, Ashwathy demands to know why they didn't have a family themselves & who her father was. Vanaja refused to answer & this drives Ashwathy away from her.
Ennum Eppozhum
A lazy, washed-out reporter, Vineeth N. Pillai (Mohanlal), who works for the women's magazine 'Vanitharatnam' is tasked with obtaining an exclusive interview of the latest talk of the town - lawyer & social justice warrior Deepa (Manju Warrier). Deepa, however has zero interest in giving him an interview, but despite numerous snubs, Vineeth persists.
Rakshadhikari Baiju Oppu
Baiju (Biju Menon), a do-gooder in the village of Kumbalam, uses the abundant free time from his light government job to promote arts & sports under the auspices of the club he runs with his friends - 'Kumbalam Brothers'.
