Kunjimalu (Archana Kavi), a young girl belonging to the low 'Veluthedathu' caste comes to the house of Malukuttiyamma (Sreedevi Unni) as a maid. Malukuttiyamma's son, Haridas (Kailash), who returns home after finishing college, takes a fancy to Kunjimalu, & despite her attempts to keep a distance, finally beds her. Kunjimalu, who was under the impression that Haridas loved her, gets a rude shock when Haridas, for whom Kunjimalu was only a time-pass, marries wealthy Ratnam (Samvrutha Sunil).

Mukundan Menon (Jayaram) is 'the married man', John (Jayasurya) is 'the Bachelor' & Rahul (Indrajith) is 'the married bachelor'. While the faithful Mukundan has a very suspicious Krishnendu (Bhavana) as his wife, playboy Rahul has a very trusting wife Shreya (Samvrutha Sunil). 5 friends, ex-gangster Kalappurackal Sunny (Lal), failed gambler Murugan (Nedumudi Venu), hotelier Tomy (Prashant Narayanan), club singer Aloshy (Asif Ali) & smuggler Basheer, pool in 50 lakhs each towards a drug deal to make a combined profit of at least 2.5 crores, but everything goes awry when one of them decides to double-cross the rest & get away with all of the money. The failure to recognize the traitor in their midst starts to cost each of them their life.

After some initial spats with the Municipal Secretary Mahalakshmi (Rima Kallingal), they are asked to help with her sister-in-law & widow Rekha (Karthika Nair), who was being stalked by her relatives. The younger Deva Raja Kammath falls in love with Rekha & the elder brother tries to unite them against Mahalakshmi's protests.

Preman (Fahadh Faasil), the caretaker of a flat at Kochi, derogatively called 'Natholi' (Anchovy) by the residents, faces constant humiliation at the hands of Prabha (Kamalinee Mukherjee), a headstrong arrogant girl who lives there.
