The film shows the life of a student and his way in university over 6 years. In the beginning he's living the easy life of a student, not really caring about his studies. But through the film he finds out what's really important for him.

Ben (Robert Gwisdek) is a bright, sharp-witted student in his early twenties who is confined to a wheelchair. He's assigned a new assistant, a medical student named Christian (Jacob Matschenz). Ben is intimidating and demanding of his helpers, but Christian gives as good as he gets and the two develop a keen rapport.
