A dying professor leaves his great-nephew a collection of documents pertaining to the Cthulhu Cult. The nephew begins to learn why the study of the cult so fascinated his grandfather. Bit-by-bit he begins piecing together the dread implications of his grandfather's inquiries, and soon he takes on investigating the Cthulhu cult as a crusade of his own.
Filmed in the style of the classic horror films of the 1930s, based on a story by one of the precursors of science fiction and space horrors, the celebrated Howard Phillips Lovecraft. A folklore professor investigates legends of strange creatures in the most remote hills of Vermont. He is sceptical to begin with, but nevertheless sets off for the location, where he finds his colleague in a wheelchair. (wff.pl)
