Nikki Turner, a woman eager to become a chef, is offered a job as an assistant at her great role model's restaurant. She is convinced that this job will be her big break. Much to her pleasure, Nikki befriends her handsome colleague Paul Dellucci after a difficult start. This pleasure turns out to be short-lived when she discovers that her boss is stealing her recipes and fires them both. Together the two decide to start their own restaurant.
