Siew Feng Choo

A story spanning several decades, tells life of Yue Niang & her mother, both highly skilled in Straits Chinese customs based around cooking and sewing. Both are discriminated against due to low status but both have aristocratic links. Yue Niang's beauty and kindness attracted the attention of many suitors, but incur the jealousy of rellies.
