Sreejith Ravi

'Chankoottam' Bhasi (Kalabhavan Mani) is a goon who turns out to be even more feared than his father 'Chemparunthu' Bhaskaran (Rajan P. Dev), in the village of Moolikkandam. The Panchayat President Madhavan Nair (Nedumudi Venu), desperate to stop Bhasi's atrocities, brings in a young man who begrudges Bhasi, Mustafa. After a duel between the two, Mustafa dies & Bhasi is convicted. Years later, when Bhasi gets back, he finds that his old crony Rajendran (Riyaz Khan) now rules over the village.

After Rajiv Gandhi, India's ex-Prime Minister was assassinated by LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam) on 21 May, 1991, a major manhunt launches to catch the LTTE operatives involved in the assassination. Major Sivaram (Mammootty), an NSG (National Security Guard) Commando, heads the operation with his team, in collaboration with CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) SIT (Special Investigation Team).

Sivan (Suresh Gopi), a wayside cobbler & odd-job man, saves a girl Kanakam (Sindhu Menon) from goon Gauri (Sreejith Ravi) & Gauri gets time for the murder of an accomplice, which happens in the process. Sivan marries Kanakam, but she dies at childbirth & their daughter Meenakshi becomes everything to Sivan. Things get complicated when Sivan is diagnosed with a terminal illness & Gauri gets out on bail & threatens to take Meenakshi away, making Sivan scared for Meenakshi's future after his death.

Dr. Balagopal (Mohanlal), a gynecologist at the Allied Hospital, tries to stop a group of terrorists who have planted bombs in 5 major cities in Kerala, & who have taken Home Minister Sakhriya Thomas (Shivaji Guruvayoor) & his new-born child, hostages.

Achuthankutty (Suresh Gopi) has decided to forgo marriage to protest against his friend Najeeb (Mukesh) who ran away with his sister Athira (Surabhi), while Najeeb is trying to get Achuthankutty married, to clear his name. They both get invited to Kanchipuram, to manage the wedding of heiress Meenakshi (Muktha George). There, circumstances force Meenakshi to turn down her marriage & declare that she has an affair with Achuthankutty. Now Achuthankutty has to clear his name in 7 days or marry her.

Varadanunni (Indrajith), son of a Kathakali artist, is forced to take up arms against gangster J.S. (Siddique), who wipes out his family after they witness a murder committed by him. Teaming up with don Vincent Karanavar (Thilakan), who had his own axe to grind with J.S., Varadanunni lays down plans to entrap J.S..

Vidyalakshmi (Mamtha Mohandas), a Hindu, marries a Muslim, Shanavas Ahmed (Asif Ali), against the wishes of both families & start a family. However, when Shanavas is killed in a mishap, Vidyalakshmi has to struggle to make ends meet & finally ends up on the streets. Preman (Jayaram), an auto rickshaw driver comes to Vidyalakshmi's aid & take her & her daughter to his colony. With the help & encouragement of Preman & the colony dwellers, Vidyalakshmi gets a second chance at life.

Naarayanan Unni (Prithviraj), a youth who cannot accept his mixed parentage, a Brahmin father & a low caste mother (Sreekala), leaves home on an identity quest & comes to Kuttanad to trace his mother's roots. There he stays with an amiable, but mentally deranged woman (K.P.A.C. Lalitha) & her young daughter Jayasree (Samvrutha Sunil), where Jayasree fed her family by sleeping with her own uncle (Nedumudi Venu). The experiences that Unni goes through makes him see life in a new light.

Adamant about not giving off his sister in marriage to a dreaded criminal, Sub Inspector of Police Kaasinathan (Indrajith) holds out against gangster 'Udumpu' Rocky (Sreejith Ravi) & his brother, kingpin 'Garudan' Raghavan (Kalabhavan Mani), after Rocky demands Kaasinathan's sister Gauri's (Sarayu) hand in marriage as a revenge for getting thrashed at the hands of Kaasinathan. While inside the jail, Sait had met an orphaned young man, Anwar (Prithviraj), whom he indoctrinates for jihad after getting out, & together they plan for further bomb blasts in Kochi & subsequently, Mumbai.

Vettoor Sivankutty (Ajaykumar), a staunch commie, is forced to marry at the behest of his party, with the aim of grooming his wife as a future female party leader. Sivankutty marries Meenakshi (Sruthi Lakshmi), whom he takes to be a commie, but to his shock, Meenakshi turns out to be the exact opposite. Sivankutty's woes increase when famous film star Pavan Kumar (Mukesh) comes to the village to shoot his latest film & Meenakshi gets potty with him, including becoming the heroine of the film.

At each step of the way, they try to outsmart each other to get to the treasure first.

An adaptation of William Shakespeare's 'Hamlet', 'Karmayogi' dramatizes the revenge Rudran Gurukkal (Indrajith) exacts on his uncle Bhairavan (Thalaivasal Vijay) for murdering Rudran Valiya Gurukkal (Indrajith), Bhairavan's brother & Rudran Gurukkal's father, & then becoming the headman of the Chathoth family & taking as his wife, Mankamma (Padmini Kolhapure), the old headman's widow & Rudran Gurukkal's mother.

Life threatens to derail for boater Sivankutty (Sreenivasan) & daughter Manju (Ganga Babu) when maniac criminal Komban Lawrence (Pasupathy) escapes police custody & seeks revenge against Sivankutty. Lawrence's reason - 12 years ago, when Sivankutty's young daughter & Manju's twin, died because of Lawrence, Sivankutty shot Lawrence in a fit of rage which confined him to bed for 12 years. On the run from Lawrence, Sivankutty finds a ray of hope in Mukundan (Indrajith), the young man next door.

Kannan (Sajith Raj), adopted by a childless couple after his parents were killed by goon 'Cheenkanni' Bhaskaran, searches for him, while rising to the top of the criminals in the city of Perumbavoor, heading the sand mafia. Opposing the sand mafia was the honest & environmentally conscious cop Tomy Sebastian (Kalabhavan Mani). Sparks routinely flare between Kannan & Tomy, but things take an ugly turn when Tomy is found dead in Kannan's sand truck. Kannan is accused of Tomy's murder & jailed.

Josekutty (Arun), a plus two student with a promising future, a loving girlfriend & a caring family, is misguided by the new Math teacher in school, Nandan (Ganesh Kumar), who preached radical communism & atheism. Nandan, who was deployed there by the Communist Party, ushers in political elections in the school, which results in a skirmish where Josekutty & his friend Ijaz stab a fellow student. Running off to Kochi, Josekutty & Ijaz are duped & sent off to a terrorist camp by Ijaz's cousin.

Raja (Mammootty) & Kari (Lal) are fraternal twins who often evoke disbelief because of Raja being fair & Kari being dark, with Kari himself always suspecting that they got swapped at birth. They buy the house of John Samuel (Lalu Alex) & woo his daughters Annie (Kanika) & Sherly (Padmapriya). Brothers Isaac (Babu Antony) & Albert, who were after the sisters & Samuel's hospital cause frequent woes for them & Samuel decides to settle the matter with a boxing match between Raja-Kari & Isaac-Albert.

Kunjunni (Kalabhavan Mani) is a young man of the Perumannur village who is loved by all. Radha (Meera Nandan), who belonged to a gypsy group, comes to the village to sell statuettes of Lord Krishna. Kunjunni & Radha fall in love, but Radha's father opposes the marriage because Kunjunni was an orphan. Kunjunni later finds out that he actually belongs to a rich family & he had run away from home 20 years back, because his mother Yashoda (Saranya) was too strict & disregarded his musical talents.

The film is a biopic based on the life story of J.C. Daniel (Prithviraj), the Father of Malayalam cinema, the making of his film 'Vigathakumaran' & the story of Vigathakumaran's heroine P. K. Rosie (Chandini). The film is particularly based on the novel 'Nashta Naayika' by Vinu Abraham & 'Life of J. C. Daniel', a biography of J. C. Daniel written by Chelangatt Gopalakrishnan.

Chacko (Asif Ali) & Hari (Aju Varghese), two Bangalore-based ad professionals, get fed up with their boss Radhika (Sandra Thomas) & her tantrums, decide to take a break & head to Goa, where Chacko meets a foreigner, Rachel (Sabreen Baker). After coming back to Bangalore, they realize that Rachel's bag was left in their car by mistake. The bag contained cocaine & after some initial tries to get rid of the bag fails, they decide to sell it. Meanwhile, the bag's real owners were looking for them.

Following the disclosure of a corruption scandal involving a major communist leader Kaitheri Sahadevan (Hareesh Peradi), by 2 renegade journos Aliyar (Sudheer Karamana) & Suresh (Sreejith Ravi), veteran activist Roy Joseph (V.G. Muralikrishnan) tries to manage the fallout. In a related side story, corrupt cop P.K. Jayan (Indrajith) commits a murder for the girl of his dreams, Jennifer Kuruvila (Ramya Nambeeshan), only to be snubbed by her as she seeks to leave the country for a better life.

Sam Alex (Prithviraj), who used to be a top cop in the force, shirks work & spends his days in drunken stupor after his wife Teena (Meghana Raj) & daughter are killed by a terrorist & he is unable to stop it. Sam is finally brought out of his exile by his boss Aravindaksha Menon (Vijayaraghavan) & forced to look into a case of serial killings with religious overtones.

Joy Thakkolkaran (Jayasurya), an entrepreneur, after coming across the technology to make incense sticks from elephant dung, struggles to get this fledgling incense manufacturing company off the ground, but has to lock horns with the local political party RIP (Revolutionary Independent Party). The kerfuffle results in RIP goons thrashing Joy's office building after Joy defies a hartal (strike) called by RIP. Joy files for damages against RIP, & a battle of wits ensues.

'Vedi Vazhipadu' depicts the events in a time frame of 24 hours on the Pongala festival day at the Attukal Temple. 3 friends, bank cashier Sanjay (Saiju Kurup), investor Pradeep (Sreejith Ravi) & video game tester Rahul (Murali Gopy), have made secret plans for the day when their wives will be away at the festival. On the said day, the friends gather in Rahul's apartment. They have booze & a prostitute, Sumithra (Anumol), & plan to enjoy themselves. However, things don't go as planned.

With 7 days to go before the wedding between Ad-film maker Aby (Dileep) & model Ann (Parvathy Nambiar), trouble comes calling when Aby runs across his ex-flame Sini (Rima Kallingal), now married with a kid. A stranger, Baijuraj (Anil Rajgopal), accosts them & accuses them of having an affair, but he soon ends up hospitalized after being attacked by someone. Then when Sini gets threatening calls from someone making the same claims as Baijuraj, they try to find the person manipulating their lives.

The small village of Aadhi kaadu, inhabited by a clan who abide by their own customs & traditions, is frequently attacked by a wild elephant. Frustrated by the authorities' negligence, the villagers decide to bring in a Kumki (domesticated) elephant to confront the wild one. Circumstances induce Bomman (Vikram Prabhu), his uncle Kothalli (Thambi Ramaiyah) & sidekick Undiyal (Ashwin) to arrive at Aadhi Kaadu, masquerading Manikyam, an elephant used for festive occasions, as a Kumki elephant.

Four women's - Ananya (Ganga), Bhama (Nancy), Meghana Raj (Revathy), Shweta Menon (Nila) - lives turn into living hell when a death happens in their apartment & they are forced to seek the help of a habitual criminal, Sura (Sreejith Ravi), to hide the body. Sura carts the body away & is never heard of again until months later when he turns up dead. Later, a stranger (Sethu) who witnessed the incident calls the girls & blackmails them into doing nefarious things.

Venu (Sreenivasan), a struggling middle-class man, panics when his daughter Swathi (Parvathy) announces that she would commit suicide if she doesn't get into medical school. When Swathi doesn't pass the entrance exam, Venu decides to sell off a 5 cent plot of land he had in a posh residential area, to pay for a paid seat, but faces a big hurdle - through years of neglect, his plot has turned into the colony's landfill. Venu now has to use his ingenuity to clean up the plot to be able to sell it.

Iyob, a slave-turned-master rules over his tea estate with his 2 ruthless sons Ivan (Jinu Joseph) & Dimitri (Chemban Vinod Jose), while his youngest son Aloshi (Fahadh Faasil) stays aloof from their brutality. After Ivan & Dimitri tries to kill Aloshi, he is brought back to life by his hunter friend Chemban (Vinayakan). After his recovery, Aloshi teams up with Chemban & his childhood friend Martha (Isha Sharvani) to rebel against his own family.

Mathai (Jayasurya), an auto-driver who often intervenes in others' personal issues needlessly, tries to resolve a conflict between a doctor, Dr. Nandagopan (Mukesh) & his wife Geetha (Lakshmi Gopalaswamy), but ends up complicating the matter further.

Felix (Fahadh Faasil), an orphan raised by the local bigwig of the beach community of Mariyam Mukku, Mariyaan (Manoj K. Jayan), to be his right-hand man, goes soft after meeting Salomi (Sana Altaf), the new girl in the community. This anger Mariyaan, who tries to drive them apart. At this juncture, something Felix does in a drunken stupor is mistaken to be divine miracle by the town folks, which causes for the whole beach area to be flooded by devotees, causing for business to boom in the area.

Police constables Balagopal (Sreejith Ravi) & Jolly Kurian (Joju George), who hate each other, are ordered to transfer 2 prisoners from Kannur to Trivandrum. They board the train with the handcuffed inmates, but at the Kayamkulam station, prisoner Nandu (Vineeth Sreenivasan) escapes. They get off the train at the next stop with the 2nd inmate Maaran (Chemban Vinod Jose) & frantically searches for Nandu. The 3 unlikely musketeers band together to dig up Nandu's story to see why he escaped.

Manoj (Vinay Forrt), an inexperienced small-time thief, becomes the disciple of a more experienced, but scrupulous thief, Benny (Chemban Vinod Jose), to learn the tricks of the trade. They both end up in jail for different crimes, and there Manoj breaks from Benny to plan a big one with ruthless thief & killer Karlose (Kalabhavan Shajohn), based on reliable information from inmates Balu (Musthafa) & Babutten (Aju Varghese).

Aakash (Vijay Babu) & Vani (Kavya Madhavan) are a warring couple focused on their own lives & careers & constantly bickering. Things come to a head when Aakash decides to leave Vani for another woman. Refusing to let go, Vani ties up Aakash in their bathroom, while trying to convince him to stay. Meanwhile, 2 goons seeking to scare Vani away from a newstory she recently broke, break & enter their house & seeing Aakash tied up & Vani vulnerable, threaten to steal their belongings & rape Vani.

Ex-railway sportswoman Vandana (Manju Warrier) is married to volleyball coach Aby (Anoop Menon), who manages a team called the 'Karinkunnam 6's'. Aby finds sponsors for his dream venture, a volleyball league, but an altercation with a team member leaves him paralyzed & his own team members jump ship shortly afterwards. Forced to take up the mantle, Vandana forms a new volleyball team with a ragtag group of convicted prisoners and attempts to train them to win the league.

Thoppil Joppan (Mammootty), who owns the local theater & who is the owner of the local kabbadi team, is an alcoholic who uses his failed love affair with Annie (Andrea Jeremiah) as an excuse to drink. He gets enamored with a doctor Maria (Mamta Mohandas), but that too falls flat after he learns that Maria is in love with someone else. Joppan & his sidekicks are sent to a rehabilitation center by his mother Marykutty (Kaviyoor Ponnamma).

Vinayan (Kunchacko Boban), the projector operator at a small local theater owned by Madhavan (Renji Panicker) in the village of Paalattukkara, is in love with Sreedevi (Shamili), daughter of a big landlord, Bhagavan (Suresh Krishna), from the neighboring Vadakkumbhagam village. The 2 villages have been bitter rivals ever since Bhagavan's elder daughter Sreekala (Mia George) eloped with someone from Paalattukkara. As Vinayan & Sreedevi try to unite, the theater becomes a flashpoint in the story.

Unnikuttan (Dileep), who was born at the Viyyur Central Jail & lived there till 5 before he was moved to a juvenile facility, considers the jail his home & assumes responsibilities for crimes he didn't commit just to keep returning to the jail. Once in between sentences, he meets Radhika (Vedika), a girl from his village whom he falls in love with. Then when Radhika also ends up in jail alongside him, framed by a powerful politician, Unnikuttan turns his attention to helping Radhika.

Raman (Kunchacko Boban), who runs a resort called 'Eden' in Vagamon, falls in love with Malini (Anu Sithara), a married guest, & they carry on a long distance relationship, which is eventually discovered by Malini's philandering husband Elvis (Joju George), & which pushes them into divorce.

In the village of Kannadikkal, the old-timers, including the local wrestler & coach, Captain (Renji Panicker), are obsessed with wrestling, while the youngsters, including Captain's son Anjaneya Das (Tovino Thomas), are trying to claim the village ground for playing cricket. Das goes to Punjab to study, but soon after he gets into trouble there & returns home, his wrestler friend Aditi Singh (Wamiqa Gabbi), runs away from home & arrives at his village.
