'Chankoottam' Bhasi (Kalabhavan Mani) is a goon who turns out to be even more feared than his father 'Chemparunthu' Bhaskaran (Rajan P. Dev), in the village of Moolikkandam. The Panchayat President Madhavan Nair (Nedumudi Venu), desperate to stop Bhasi's atrocities, brings in a young man who begrudges Bhasi, Mustafa. After a duel between the two, Mustafa dies & Bhasi is convicted. Years later, when Bhasi gets back, he finds that his old crony Rajendran (Riyaz Khan) now rules over the village.
After Rajiv Gandhi, India's ex-Prime Minister was assassinated by LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam) on 21 May, 1991, a major manhunt launches to catch the LTTE operatives involved in the assassination. Major Sivaram (Mammootty), an NSG (National Security Guard) Commando, heads the operation with his team, in collaboration with CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) SIT (Special Investigation Team).

There, circumstances force Meenakshi to turn down her marriage & declare that she has an affair with Achuthankutty. Now Achuthankutty has to clear his name in 7 days or marry her.

Brothers Isaac (Babu Antony) & Albert, who were after the sisters & Samuel's hospital cause frequent woes for them & Samuel decides to settle the matter with a boxing match between Raja-Kari & Isaac-Albert.

After coming back to Bangalore, they realize that Rachel's bag was left in their car by mistake. The bag contained cocaine & after some initial tries to get rid of the bag fails, they decide to sell it. Meanwhile, the bag's real owners were looking for them.

Venu (Sreenivasan), a struggling middle-class man, panics when his daughter Swathi (Parvathy) announces that she would commit suicide if she doesn't get into medical school. When Swathi doesn't pass the entrance exam, Venu decides to sell off a 5 cent plot of land he had in a posh residential area, to pay for a paid seat, but faces a big hurdle - through years of neglect, his plot has turned into the colony's landfill. Venu now has to use his ingenuity to clean up the plot to be able to sell it.

At this juncture, something Felix does in a drunken stupor is mistaken to be divine miracle by the town folks, which causes for the whole beach area to be flooded by devotees, causing for business to boom in the area.
Police constables Balagopal (Sreejith Ravi) & Jolly Kurian (Joju George), who hate each other, are ordered to transfer 2 prisoners from Kannur to Trivandrum. They board the train with the handcuffed inmates, but at the Kayamkulam station, prisoner Nandu (Vineeth Sreenivasan) escapes. They get off the train at the next stop with the 2nd inmate Maaran (Chemban Vinod Jose) & frantically searches for Nandu. The 3 unlikely musketeers band together to dig up Nandu's story to see why he escaped.

They both end up in jail for different crimes, and there Manoj breaks from Benny to plan a big one with ruthless thief & killer Karlose (Kalabhavan Shajohn), based on reliable information from inmates Balu (Musthafa) & Babutten (Aju Varghese).
Aakash (Vijay Babu) & Vani (Kavya Madhavan) are a warring couple focused on their own lives & careers & constantly bickering. Things come to a head when Aakash decides to leave Vani for another woman. Refusing to let go, Vani ties up Aakash in their bathroom, while trying to convince him to stay. Meanwhile, 2 goons seeking to scare Vani away from a newstory she recently broke, break & enter their house & seeing Aakash tied up & Vani vulnerable, threaten to steal their belongings & rape Vani.
Ex-railway sportswoman Vandana (Manju Warrier) is married to volleyball coach Aby (Anoop Menon), who manages a team called the 'Karinkunnam 6's'. Aby finds sponsors for his dream venture, a volleyball league, but an altercation with a team member leaves him paralyzed & his own team members jump ship shortly afterwards. Forced to take up the mantle, Vandana forms a new volleyball team with a ragtag group of convicted prisoners and attempts to train them to win the league.
Thoppil Joppan (Mammootty), who owns the local theater & who is the owner of the local kabbadi team, is an alcoholic who uses his failed love affair with Annie (Andrea Jeremiah) as an excuse to drink. He gets enamored with a doctor Maria (Mamta Mohandas), but that too falls flat after he learns that Maria is in love with someone else. Joppan & his sidekicks are sent to a rehabilitation center by his mother Marykutty (Kaviyoor Ponnamma).
Vinayan (Kunchacko Boban), the projector operator at a small local theater owned by Madhavan (Renji Panicker) in the village of Paalattukkara, is in love with Sreedevi (Shamili), daughter of a big landlord, Bhagavan (Suresh Krishna), from the neighboring Vadakkumbhagam village. The 2 villages have been bitter rivals ever since Bhagavan's elder daughter Sreekala (Mia George) eloped with someone from Paalattukkara. As Vinayan & Sreedevi try to unite, the theater becomes a flashpoint in the story.
Unnikuttan (Dileep), who was born at the Viyyur Central Jail & lived there till 5 before he was moved to a juvenile facility, considers the jail his home & assumes responsibilities for crimes he didn't commit just to keep returning to the jail. Once in between sentences, he meets Radhika (Vedika), a girl from his village whom he falls in love with. Then when Radhika also ends up in jail alongside him, framed by a powerful politician, Unnikuttan turns his attention to helping Radhika.
Raman (Kunchacko Boban), who runs a resort called 'Eden' in Vagamon, falls in love with Malini (Anu Sithara), a married guest, & they carry on a long distance relationship, which is eventually discovered by Malini's philandering husband Elvis (Joju George), & which pushes them into divorce.
