Omanakuttan (Asif Ali), the customer service rep of a fraudulent hair-oil company, falls victim to a robbery, gets hit on the head & loses his memory, including his own name. He befriends Pallavi (Bhavana), a young girl trying to trick her rich family into paying for her higher studies in Spain by telling them that she is married. Omanakuttan seeks Pallavi's help in finding out his identity, while Pallavi seeks his help to pretend he is her husband.

P.L. Thomas (Biju Menon), popularly known as "Sherlock Toms" because of his obsession with Sherlock Holmes novels, becomes an income tax commissioner tasked with catching unaccounted wealth. However, his first major attempt falls flat, resulting in humiliation & a suspension. Thomas hatches a plan to salvage his reputation & enlists the help of his friends.

Street-smart Ullas Kumar(Dileep) marries Canadian citizen Laya (Mamta) without realizing that she was a chronic alcoholic. Ullas follows Laya to Canada, but they end up always fighting. Finally Laya files for divorce, but Ullas convinces the judge that he needs to be present in Laya's life because of her alcoholism. Now Laya has to kick her addiction to prove she can independently function, & hence procure the divorce.

A group of young men led by Shaji Pappan (Jayasurya) wins a tug of war competition, for which the winning prize turned out to be a baby goat. Angry at this, Pappan tries to dispose of the goat, against the wishes of his friends. Meanwhile, a gang of criminals led by Dude (Vinayakan) has descended from Bangkok to procure the supposedly rare (but in reality mythical) plant called 'Neelakoduveli' for Dude's sick boss. Mistaking Pappan & co. to be in possession of the plant, Dude & co. chases them.

3 friends - Amar (Prithviraj), Akbar (Jayasurya) & Anthony (Indrajith) - from poor families living in Fort Kochi, go about their daily lives goofing off, getting drunk & chasing girls, especially the neighborhood girl Jenny (Namitha Pramod). However, their lives take a serious turn when a young girl known to them, Pathumma (Meenakshi), goes missing & later turns up dead after being sexually molested.

A tailor (Kunchacko Boban) fall in love with Sumathi (Rima Kallingal), the daughter of a rich man (Joy Mathew), but the rich man wants to marry her off to a UK-based Malayali (Kunchacko Boban). They fight all odds to unite.

Kunjiraman (Vineeth Sreenivasan), nephew of Well-done Vasu (Mamukkoya), plans to marry Vasu's daughter Thankamani (Rimi Tomy). His plan is foiled by his dim-witted cousin Lalu (Dhyan Sreenivasan). To avenge this, he goes to Gulf, makes money & returns to his hometown Desam to marry before Thankamani does. Kunjiraman gets engaged to other women but all end up in cancellations. Villagers superstitiously believe that it is Kunjiraman's actions that bring problems & curses to Desam.

Rameshan (Nivin Pauly), along with his friends were part of a cricket team in their village & their lives were consumed by their passion for cricket & admiration for Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Rameshan's parents hated his cricket craze & Rameshan ends up being a inferior student & an nonachiever. However, seeing his own son Kannan's (Bagath Abrid) love for cricket, Rameshan encourages him & tries to get him professionally trained under former Kerala team coach Vijay Menon (Anoop Menon).

Aaron (Jayasurya), a budding cricketer who loses his eyesight as a kid in an accident, tries to realize his dream of forming an Indian cricket team for the blind, with the help of former washed-up coach Gopi Krishnan (Lal).

Allen Mathew (Vipin Atley), a young man trying to catch a break in TV despite his unflattering looks, comes up with a unique concept for a TV show, which is stolen by his friend Sajith (Kailash) who works for the Christian TV channel, Grace TV. Allen does get a chance to make further episodes, but is stymied at every step of the way by Program Head Sarath Chandran (Manoj K. Jayan) & Sajith. Finally, Allen decides to expose the corruption at Grace TV through a special New Year's eve episode.

Fish auctioneer Malik (Mammootty) is forced to give shelter to a Jewish British citizen, Michelle (Caroline Bech), after she is forced to leave her hotel, Hotel Casalinda. As Malik couldn't speak or understand a word of English & Michelle a word of Malayalam, Malik tries to learn English. After Malik realizes that he is being used by his politician friend Paulose Punnokkaaran (Sathar) & his ex-father-in-law (Ramu) to steal Michelle's ancestral property, Hotel Casalinda, he decides to help her.

After rising concerns about cancer, the Kerala government bans gutka (chewing tobacco) in the state & appoints an 'Anti-Gutka Squad' lead by cop Shambu (Indrajith), who ruthlessly cracks down on the migrant workers in the state who were widespread users of it. This leads to a group of youngsters to enter into the gutka black market, & when Shambu busts that ring, they start a noodle business. Meanwhile Shambu was on the lookout for Bada Bhai (Sunny Wayne), the main supplier of contraband gutka.

Unni (Jayaram), a masterful chenda (a drum) player & a married man who had no interest in his own wife Kalyani (Lakshmi Gopalaswamy), is drawn to dancer Nalini (Kadambari). They have a short, but torrid affair, but they are pulled apart by Nalini's brother (Siddique), who marries Nalini off elsewhere. Unni turns into an alcoholic with deteriorating physical & mental health, whilst Nalini's new husband (Vineeth) turns out to be someone who thinks & acts like a woman.

ACP Pouran (Prithviraj), who had been itching to prove himself in the police force, implicates 2 street performers - Jumper Thampi (Baburaj) & Cross-belt Mani (Vinod Chemban) - after mistaking Thampi for the international terrorist Khalid Qureshi (Baburaj). They get the death sentence, but when Pouran learns that they are innocent, he tries to save them, but soon learns that the political machinery has no interest in freeing them.

Rasool (Fahad Fazil), a Muslim cab driver, falls in love with Anna (Andrea Jeremiah), a Christian sales girl & courts her. The feeling becomes mutual, but their relationship gets beset with a string of problems.

Brahmin girl & art student Gayatri (Ann Augustine) falls for eccentric college-mate Michael Agnelo (Fahadh Faasil), & they both drop out & start living together. After the initial euphoria settles, Gayatri finds Michael to be very self-centered & hot-tempered & that he expects her to support him so that he could paint. Then an accident leaves Michael blind, adding to Gayatri's woes. At this juncture, Michael decides to create his magnum opus, & Gayatri struggles to keep up with the expenses.

Tessa K. Abraham (Rima Kallingal), a nurse in Bangalore who dreams of going abroad, forms a bond of friendship with her visa consultant Cyril C. Mathew (Fahad Fazil). Their friendship turns into love & they move in together, but Tessa's happy life is shattered when she is raped by Cyril's boss Hegde (Prathap K. Pothan) & later betrayed by Cyril himself as she is framed for drug possession. Bitter & behind bars, Tessa plots her revenge against Hegde & Cyril.
