When a Taiwanese policeman is sent to the Thai Burma border as an undercover agent, things go wrong when he flips sides, a task force of elite commandos must be deployed to get him back or risk losing 5 billion in cash. More great action from the team that brought you, Book of Heroes and the Kung Fu Kids series. (Wu Tang Collection)
The story begins in a small rural village. The son lives with the father, and the daughter with mother, their parents constantly quarreling, often resulting in physical confrontations. The children are content with their lives, but their parents feel differently and suggest they go to the city in search of soul-mates. When they arrive in town wacky shenanigans and misadventures ensue as they find out that maybe they didn't have to go searching so far after all.
NEVER TOO LATE TO REPENT is the parent of all Taiwan B-movies. The infamous, reformed criminal-turned-writer MA Sha plays himself in this film adaptation of his own memoirs, but director OUYANG Chun merges MA's story with fictive and sensual elements. The film is an adrenaline-fueled ride of violence and decadence set deep in the red-light district. With his signature tattoos and wild performance, MA became a badass icon of Taiwanese social realist films. (Anthology Film Archives)
