DSP Jayaprakash aka Jay (Prabhu) has long been on the trail of dreaded criminal David Billa (Ajith) & finally kills him by accident. To catch the whole of Billa's gang, along with his boss, the mysterious Jagadish, Jay gets Velu (Ajith), Billa's lookalike, to pose as Billa & infiltrate his gang. In an encounter, Jay gets killed, & the blame falls on Velu, whom the cops assume to be Billa. Velu goes on the run, with the cops & Jagadish's gang, who learned that he isn't Billa, on his tail.

A botched kidnapping attempt leads to much confusion.

David Abraham IPS (Prithviraj), now on suspension, tries to help a group of youngsters - Shaan Shahar (Vinay Forrt), Abey (Tovino Thomas), Vinu Ramachandran (Anu Mohan), Cyril Samuel (Praveen Prem) & Jessy (Janani Iyer) - who were in trouble for losing a big sum of money belonging to a dreaded crime lord called Christopher Moriarti.

Satya (Navdeep) is an innocent Brahmin boy from Nagercoil, who comes to Chennai to study engineering. His problems start after he encounters the dreaded don Adinarayanan (Prakash Raj), who turns out to be Satya's father & Adinarayanan's short-tempered adopted son Kutty (Arya). Satya tries to stay away from them, while Adinarayanan & Kutty constantly badger him to come live with them.

Derick Abraham, a fiery and dutiful police officer, continues to be the best officer until his brother Philip Abraham gets arrested for false murder charges. Will he be able to investigate the case and serve justice to his brother?
