90 64% The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) - Jul 07, 2021
"A great holiday movie, Christmas and Halloween, for all ages! This was my first Tim Burton film, and it still holds up! One of those movies that you watch when you're young and it never gets old."
25 1% Holes (2003) - Jul 03, 2021
"Awful. I usually enjoy most movies I watch, and I liked the book, but this was terrible. Everything about it was not good. It's like a person who knows nothing about filmmaking tried to make a Disney version of Stand By Me. If you like the book, stick to the book. If you haven't seen either, read the book but don't waste your time with this nonsense of a film."
88 52% The Iron Giant (1999) - Jul 03, 2021
"A perfect movie, like some of my other ratings, points are only deducted for personal preference. Great acting, great story, pretty good animation, and arguably the best movie ending ever."
85 39% Shrek (2001) - Jul 03, 2021
"It don't get more meme-able then Shrek, man."
75 17% Suicide Squad (2016) - Jul 03, 2021
"Not bad, just felt kind of half-baked. Like, if they had fixed up some stuff, it would have been a ton better, but it seemed like they just ran out of time to clean it all up. Margot Robbie and Will Smith are excellent, as is Viola Davis. Jared Leto's Joker is... interesting, that's for sure. But I think people give it too much criticism. It seemed like that's how Jim Carrey would've played it, had he done it. And a lot of it took place in the dark, and made it kinda hard to make out."
88 52% Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983) - Jul 03, 2021
"My third favorite Star Wars movie not counting spinoffs, it has the perfect balance of everything. Cool species, action sequences, drama, pretty good effects, good and bad, great writing, good acting. If you haven't seen this, it likely is your first day on Earth."
98 85% The Truman Show (1998) - Jul 03, 2021
"An absolutely perfect movie for anyone, brilliant directing and genius performances by Jim Carrey and Ed Harris. -2 points because there are one or two scenes that go on a bit to long, but they're crucial ones so it's all good. Strongly recommend."
88 52% Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith (2005) - Jul 03, 2021
"I would definitely say my second favorite movie in the Star Wars franchise (not counting stuff like Rogue One, because that's number one), behind The Last Jedi and followed very very closely by Return of the Jedi. Great stuff by Hayden Christensen and everyone else involved."
91 70% Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) - Jul 03, 2021
"A perfect family/teen comedy with lots of laughs, adventure, relatable moments, and witty dialogue. Super funny, would recommend to anyone who knows how to laugh."
90 64% Black Panther (2018) - Jul 03, 2021
"Not my personal favorite MCU movie, but it's pretty perfect. Only reason my score isn't a 100 is because of personal preference."
