Not bad. Not great. An enjoyable watch. Well paced. Some wonderful scenes of the American west. Kirk Douglas feels miscast. Robert Mitchum does a great job.

Campy but good. The plot is so bad and off that you end up wishing they just used some cliche contrivance like a virus or some mental illness. The original Stephen King source material didn't do it any favors, since King is a shockingly bad yet still prominent and popular writer.

Great duels, some great moments, and strong actors in the main roles. Great first movie by Ridley Scott, though it's not a great movie overall, though entirely watchable.
