This is the movie that made me believe in arming editors. Fractally pointless, wasted time in scenes, wasted scenes, wasted acts. There’s a brilliant movie hiding somewhere in this (the high points are so high), but it’s well hidden. I want the inverse of a Snyder cut, where the filmmaker is removed from the process and the editors have absolute control

I loved this movie. The funny bits are funny, the emotional bits hit deep. The acting is great. I didn’t love some of the pacing, but it was overall a great watch

Battlestar Galactica (2004) - Rated 03 Apr 2025

Another of those perfect journeys to mediocre endings. If you can stomach the ending, the acting and music are top notch. And the episode by episode plot is fantastic

Fringe (2008) - Rated 03 Apr 2025

The most compelling nightmare fuel I’ve watched. Well written and acted, the plot is fascinating. Each season is doing a slightly different genre, all with a sci-fi base though The ending is weak, but the journey getting there is perfect

This is just good fun. Great music, well choreographed, cool to look at. The story is good but nothing earth-shattering. Great watch for just raw entertainment

Deeply disturbing, well acted, well written. This is neat if you want to watch HBO learning to be HBO. Simultaneously nightmare fuel and really compelling

The show is consistently funny, teaches you, and it ends when it should
