On the cusp of being good. There were some cool scares, and spooky imagery, but the transition out of found footage/documentary style to traditional camera work really took me out of the movie. I wish the director committed to one style or the other, because blending the two didn't do anything but break my immersion.

The Mortuary Assistant (2026) - Rated 26 Apr 2026
Not as awful as everyone thinks, but still bad. Too many cliches, lame jumpscares with loud ass noises. Plot was quite confusing though a friend said it made more sense if you played the game. Cool monster, but there's not much to love here. I also hate the "hallucination" aspect, totally sapped any sense of stakes from the film. But at the end of the day, I've seen far worse.
