The Outrun
The Outrun (2024) - Rated 27 Jun 2025
Really enjoyed this movie, found it more relatable than most in the recovery genre as it also functions as a meditation on learning to be alone

Longlegs
Longlegs (2024) - Rated 27 Jun 2025
The only thing this movie has going for it is vibes. This movie had all the right ingredients but it’s like it couldn’t pick a plot and as a result I found it boring and substance-less. Also basically just silence of the lambs but with Nik Cage.

National Anthem
National Anthem (2023) - Rated 27 Jun 2025
Finally a queer coming of age story not pandering to a straight audience! Obviously it errs on the fantastical in its depiction of rural queer existence but it was so refreshing in its avoidance of tropes and trauma
