"Tim Allen and Christmas go as well together as children and cancer, so my expectations were low going into this, but he was actually one of the few good things going on here. The film's main crime is how dull it is, and takes way too long for any semblance of a plot to appear. I enjoy leisurely paced movies, but they need to be well written to carry you along. This isn't."

"As soon as I started watching this I realised I had made a mistake. Was very close to breaking my rule of Always Finish The Movie. Here we have a generic teen movie plot, done in the most inept way, with plenty of internalised sexism featured throughout. I wonder how much LG paid for their piece of crap phone to be given a starring role."
