"Slow doesn't necessarily mean depth and substance. Dragging it out with no meaningful conversation, narration, or significance is like hearing someone at a dinner party drone on about trivialities, slowed to a snail's pace. The whole e01 could easily have been condensed into 10 min. But even then, it would still have been an empty experience."

"Tijuana, at the border between US/Mexico, and the destination for deportation, is a world of crime, drug and human abuse, and probably a place most filmmakers would hesitate to shoot a movie. And so this is a very unique movie. The location was the deepest point imaginable, chosen by a former US Marine with the desire to "lose himself" in its desolate expanse. It's reminiscent of Apocalypse Now in mood and theme, try watching 5-10 minutes and you'll be hooked and mesmerized!"
