"I would give this a higher score, given this film isn't meant to be reviewed seriously. But the awkward camera angles and bizarre lighting was headache inducing and I couldn't even finish the film. From what I did finish, it's a goofy film you probably will watch drunk with friends on a Halloween night, and then never again."

"Incredibly underwhelming. I was under the impression that the film would have to do more with General MacArthur and how Japan was rebuilt. Instead it was mostly a romance story between a US General and a Japanese girl. Some political drama and battle scenes are sprinkled in. If you go in expecting a political intrigue and historical drama that actually has to do with Japan's rebuilding, I'd say skip this one."
