Possibly my favorite movie of all time. Every scene is relevant, aesthetically pleasing, and contains woody dialogue that helps progress the plot. Essentially, a cleaner pulp fiction taking place in German occupied france lead by a tri-lingual juggernaut in Christoph Waltz

Before Sunset (2004) - Rated 04 May 2025

Maybe the most perfect movie ever made. Doesn't have the highs of something like Inglorious Basterds but it makes zero mistakes and every scene is so tactical and pointed. Every gesture, hand movement, passing thoughts comes full circle and ends with a beautiful waltz sung by Julie Delpy. The short length also bodes in its favor.
