Irreversible

Irreversible (2002) - Rated 01 May 2026

The main flaw is that in order to achieve this effect, the violence must be present as we see it. THAT one scene is called out for being gratuitious and exploitative (as pejoratives) but it must be both of these so that the viewer responds accordingly, and the reverse chronology gives cause without meaning, deepening the cracks in the viewers's moral code as context becomes more clear throughout the story. - Full Review
