Beautiful meditation on the role of a mother and faith along with grief, and humor weaved perfectly throughout, held up with genuinely amazing acting from the entire cast. I'm flip flopping on the absurdity of "Bang Akhs" and John Cho's christian cult being to the movie's detriment or not, but I was definitely left unsatisfied with the action and ending. Every time it felt like it was about to ramp up, it just slowed back down, and the few actual action scenes were just average.

Creep (2014) - Rated 01 Sep 2026

Abysmal dogshit, acting was only SOMETIMES bad enough to be funny, and just plain bad the rest of the time. Dude was not creepy at all and the ending was ridiculous - "yes I will let dude kill me because... reasons"
