The Naked Gun (2025) - Rated 26 Sep 2025
"Worthy of being alongside the show and the first movie (I haven’t seen the sequels yet). The sheer amount of jokes and visual gags make it easy to miss something if you aren’t paying attention. I don’t know if the ending particularly sticks the landing, but I’m also not really sure if a movie like this needs a satisfying ending due to the jokes being the main focus anyways. As long as you know what you’re getting into, you’ll likely have a good time."

Dexter: Resurrection (2025) - Rated 23 Sep 2025
"While I do enjoy some elements of New Blood more, this is (currently) more consistent considering how rushed New Blood’s ending felt. It’s surprising how it still manages to feel fresh this far in, although I do wonder where they’ll go from here. It does lack the strong supporting cast of the original series, but it’s possible they’ll be able to build one up over time."

Superman (2025) - Rated 25 Aug 2025
"Not the deepest or most interesting superhero movie around, but it’s fun. It’s got a ton of action, and it’s far superior visually to most of what DC has been putting out (Try comparing the visuals in The Flash to this, you’ll see the difference immediately). Peacemaker is still my favorite of the recent DC offerings, but this is a good step towards their future, and I’m somewhat optimistic about what will follow."

28 Years Later (2025) - Rated 25 Aug 2025
"Definitely the prettiest of the series so far. Debatably the most tense. It had some cool scenes here and there, a score that really stood out, editing choices that are… interesting, and a surprisingly good child (teen?) performance from Williams. I didn’t love the story or characters, and it felt somewhat disjointed, but it’s a worthy entry for the series."
