As a New Jersean, I can honestly say Hitch did for New York what Pretty Woman did for Rodeo Drive. The city is appealing, the premise is intriguing and the acting quite wonderful. Only lovelorn prudes that have no hope of a great sex life could hate this movie.
Criticker.com - the Best Film Recommendations on the Net!

The disappointment didn't last long when I realized, given the information above, if critics had liked this movie, that might have been a bad thing. I focused my attention on interviews w/ Shyamalan himself talking about the filminsteadofthe pretentiouscriticswhohavegrownaccustomtohatinghismovies.
Criticker.com - the Best Film Recommendations on the Net!

I didn't want to see it as I don't enjoy the typical "teen sex comedy." While the story is about 3 teenagers and their awkward sex lives who are trying desperately to get booze and thusly get laid, this was a much deeper comedy. I'm not sure, but this might be the funniest movie I've ever seen. I missed some parts because I was laughing so hard at the previous joke.
Criticker.com - the Best Film Recommendations on the Net!
