- One of the few scenes I like is when they first start "going wild" and they're running from place to place doing stuff. The song that plays, the quickness and snappiness of what unfolds. That's good stuff. At that point, I thought maybe the movie was turning around. But it didn't.
- Scenes to gauge whether this movie is for you: They go to a dog whorehouse that plays "Candy Shop" and we watch dogs fucking in all kinds of positions/orgies/etc. Or there's when he gets high and he thinks Hunny is licking his nuts but it's rats biting them. Lots of views of dog ass holes (it feels strangely pornographic, honestly). A climactic scene where Bull takes one for the team and ends up getting pounded out by the obnoxious show dog so he can save the pooch he loves, Hunny, and as this is going on, he confesses his love for her.
- There's ways to do R-rated dog humour well. See Strays. It's not a brilliant movie but it's pretty consistently amusing.
- And it sucks because I think the premise is funny. And there's such potential here.
- Will say that it's animated well. I'm no expert on animation but I know what I like, and it's vibrant and fun. It's a shame that the script doesn't match that energy.

Mini Review: This is brutal. It does have a few funny moments, but they're too few and far between to succeed as a comedy. It fails miserably because not only is it not funny most of the time, it's actively unfunny, meaning it goes beyond me just being straight-faced into territory where I feel like my soul is dying when I'm hearing these "jokes." It's got about 2 or 3 jokes that it hammers repeatedly, and outside of a couple moments, it has nothing to say and no real wit. Animated well though.
