I had never heard this guy’s music before seeeing this. I knew very little other than the fact that he was apparently a snitch. The fact that it pretty much plays like a posthumous documentary, yet he’s still alive, kind of says it all. Tekashi defines that fine line between stupid and clever. Even if you hate this guy, you have to respect how ingenuous his artistry and marketing skills are. The director didn’t have a whole lot to work with, but has made an exceptionally solid documentary.
