I finished a Virginia Wood triple feature with this horrific Western about a savage man and the very bland fellows that want him captured. This flirts with being the Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer/Funny Games Western of the early 70's but doesn't have the conviction those films do to forgo having good guys at all. On that note the villain here does shine, at least as much as making you very uncomfortable with evil can be considered shining. An oddity for sure.
