The year is 330 BC and Alexander the Great, King of Macedonia and one of the greatest military minds of all time, begins his march through Persia. Soon he will battle the Persian army in his first direct engagement with King Darius III, a pivotal event in his journey to conquering much of the known world. However, before facing his great rival Alexander must first face down his own war weary army and dissent from his internal rivals.
