Ancient Apocalypse is a Netflix series that speculates about a lost advanced civilization but relies on questionable evidence and speculative connections. While it avoids Hancock’s more outlandish claims, like ancient telekinesis, it is still pseudoscience. A significant portion of the series is spent defending Hancock’s credibility rather than presenting solid archaeology. Fascinating subject, frustrating exposition.
