Mr. Dusk's cooperation with Birdy's investigation garners him unwanted attention from the remaining fugitives. When the old man vanishes, Nataru goes looking for revenge.

Birdy and Nataru spend a day looking for a little girl who ran away from the hospital. Meanwhile, the terrorists have a theory about who's been hunting them, and they're out to settle the score.
Space, Time, and You
The terrorists make repeated attempts on Nataru's life, but his unusual powers allow him to stay a step ahead of death. However, the very abilities keeping him alive - may also be destroying him.
It Never Entered My Mind
Evidence suggests that Nataru is responsible for the terrorist murders, but Birdy refuses to arrest her old friend. Continued failure to fulfill her duty as a federation agent will only lead to more bloodshed.
Both Sides Now
Nataru's violent rampage pushes his body to the point of collapse. Meanwhile, Valic turns himself in, but not before taunting Birdy with shocking details about the Central Tower bombing.
Before Long
Birdy begs Nataru to stop his murderous quest for revenge, but he responds with a callous attack on his oldest friend. When Birdy is knocked unconscious, Tsutomu stands alone as the voice of reason.
