Black Jack is given a chance to redeem his medical license, by treating the son of Detective Takasugi who has Paget's Disease. The operation is a success, but Black Jack is arrested.
Black Jack's father begs Black Jack to perform plastic surgery on his new wife's face and Black Jack decides to make her new face his mother's. After he returns, a bomb detonates seemingly killing him.
Pinoko in Sorrow (2006)

Pinoko refuses to believe the doctor has died and for a while lives with Tetsu and then a family that runs a local hospital before meeting up with him and going to Europe.
Black Jack and Pinoko go to Europe to track down Dr. Kreutzer but learn he is comatose and Black Jack must pretend to be him to perform surgery on the mother of a young girl he befriends.
The Robotic Arm (2006)

The Flying Hospital (2006)

Black Jack rides the Sky Hospital to reach England only for it to be hijacked by rogue militants who wish to use the plane as a military weapon.
Sky Hospital has landed in a small Middle Eastern country. Pinoko and Black Jack stops in a restaurant where they meet a Japanese man who works for a European medical company.
Black Jack and Pinoko reach England by hiding in a box on a cargo ship. Soon after their arrival, they are attacked by Benitokage but they manage to escape.
In Bart General Hospital near Central Park in New York, a young Hospital Director Bill Bart is performing a surgery on his mother Catherine.
A Miracle in New York (2006)

Black Jack was shot by Benitokage, but fortunately the bullet sunk into his mother's swan pendant. His mother's memento has saved his life.
BJ and Pinoko arrive at Lake Rage in Canada to meet Dr. Joruju. As they walk up to his lakeside cottage, Joruju's daughter (Yuri) fires her rifle at them.
Beyond the Aurora (2006)

Joruju's Research Facility is up in a mountain near the Arctic Circle. BJ and Pinoko board a train to travel further north.
Pinoko, Go Back to Japan! (2006)

BJ and Pinoko arrive into Gavon Republic, Africa, searching for Dr. Kuma. However, the river ahead had flooded and they were stuck in a small town.
Black Jack and Pinoko arrive into Okonja Village on a helicopter. However, many villagers have already died from various diseases. Black Jack persuades the reluctant pilot to fly further.
Black Jack and Pinoko arrive in Macao. He leaves Pinoko in the hotel room and heads to Kagemitsu's mansion on his own. Renka greets Black Jack and introduces her daughter, Shoren.
Black Jack and Pinoko wait at the departure gate when the airport security ask them to follow. They were led to the Sky Hospital where Dr. Shirabyoshi and Dr. Nishikawa were waiting.
The Sanctity of Life (2006)

There was a high possibility that all people on board the Sky Hospital (SH) have been infected by Phoenix Disease.
